Four wedding dresses styled for spring, summer, fall, and winter.
This post has been updated as of April 29, 2021.
Simply put, this is a post full of seasonal bridal inspiration for the newly engaged (or soon-to-be engaged) brides! We’ve chosen four of our wedding dresses and paired them with a theme, season, and city. For added inspiration, there’s also inspiration for other wedding details like the decor, flowers, and cake. And of course, the coordinating bridal accessories.
Spring Bridal Inspiration: A Charming Southern Wedding in Charleston
There’s nothing like a spring wedding day full of romance, flowers, and charm. And what could be more charming than a Lowcountry wedding at a historic venue that’s brimming with intricate details and jaw-dropping florals in soft pastels?
The wedding venue for this spring bridal inspiration is a historic, downtown Charleston home along The Battery. Peonies, poppies, and roses in shades of pastel pink and white are everywhere filling the air with their fragrance. Just like the bridal bouquet, the florals for the ceremony and reception incorporate greenery. In the garden, a custom-furnished tent is set up with plenty of lounge seating for guests to enjoy before and after dinner. The centerpiece of the reception is the four-tiered cake. Three of the four tiers are covered in fondant, while the last tier has tiny flowers all over like the flowers on the dress.
For the spring bridal look, our Aurora ballgown wedding dress is perfect! She blends feminine and sexy with her soft silhouette and sheer, illusion back. Crystal buttons and tiny flowers adorn her neckline. The bridal shoes combine style and function. The white leather, laser-cut Christian Louboutins feature a leather cord wrap for a secure fit so you can dance the entire night! The flower details of the hair comb compliment the tiny flowers on the dress.

Summer Bridal Inspiration: A Modern Art Deco Wedding in Miami
This summer wedding is about two things: sparkling details everywhere, and art deco. The Loews Miami Beach Hotel is the venue for the wedding. It is where modern meets art deco. There are ballrooms with amazing views and giant crystal chandeliers. Plus, it’s in the heart of Miami’s Art Deco district. Imagine the gorgeous wedding photos in front of those century-old buildings!
How do you add even more sparkle to this wedding? Add crystal accents to your cake! You also can’t forget the sparkle on your bouquet – throw a vintage brooch on there. If you don’t want to do an all-white bouquet, choose colorful calla lilies since they were a popular flower with 1920s brides.
The Heathe crepe wedding gown was a no-brainer choice for the summer bridal look. Her silhouette and beading details scream 1920s vintage. For this look, the bride is the diamond of the wedding. She’s eye-catching and glistening from head to toe. The crystal headband from Lelet NY is a modern take on a tiara. It’ll secure your hair up and out of the way with a touch of sparkle. And with your hair up, everyone will be able to see your stunning drop earrings. The earrings complement the engagement ring without it being too “matchy-matchy.” If you’re not able to borrow grandma’s heirloom jewels, some Fred Leighton baubles will do. Now, please direct your attention to the shoes. The Sergio Rossi Tressor sandals are perfection! The geometry, the sexiness… and, of course, the sparkle!!!

Fall Bridal Inspiration: A Boho Micro Wedding in the California Redwood Forest
The sleeping giants of the Redwood forest are the backdrop for the ceremony and reception. In a refreshingly uncomplicated design, they also add a layer of intimacy for the small number of family and friends that have come to witness the union. A few steps away from the ceremony (and nestled in the trees) are the reception tables. The florals reflect the change in seasons with roses, eucalyptus, ranunculus, and amaranthus in autumnal shades.
For the fall bridal look, the all-lace Hudson wedding dress was the choice du jour. She a modern and timeless wedding dress that adapts easily to the boho theme. Her light-weight floral lace, sheer lace sleeves, and low back are perfect for a wedding amongst the California Redwoods. The Juliet-style veil harkens to decades past. Its delicate lace detailing on the crown compliments the lace on the dress. The bridal shoes will have a touch of sparkle to match the vintage-store treasure on your ring finger. And to balance the vintage, a modern ear cuff.

Winter Bridal Inspiration: A Contemporary Museum Wedding in Chicago
This winter wedding is about bringing art to life. The venue is a no-brainer: Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art. Instead of the run-of-the-mill rows of chairs for the ceremony, get creative. Opt for plush, oversized ottomans to fill the ceremony space. The floral arrangements are creatively tall enough for a guest to walk under. With floor-to-ceiling windows, you will have a wonderful view of the Chicago cityscape blanketed in sparkling snow. In contrast with the white museum spaces and the snow falling outside, the interiors are lit up in vibrant, jewel tones. The same colors are also hand-painted onto the cake and interwoven in the florals.
To complement the art theme of this wedding, Amaryllis is the center of the winter bridal look. She is a wearable, artistic interpretation of an inverted blossom. For a chilly Chicago Winter’s day, opt for a (faux) fur shrug or capelet instead of a veil. That way if you and your spouse choose to go outside for a few pictures, you’re still warm. Then, come the reception, take it off for a wardrobe change of sorts. The Christian Louboutin shoes are masterfully created art on your feet to complete the look. When describing these shoes, Mr. Louboutin put it best: “This shoe has many elements that I love, especially the mirage heel, it adds a softness to the silhouette, there are many curves and fluid lines. And the laser-cut detail is like a touch of delicate lace.”
