The Monarca is a modified A-line wedding dress in mikado fabric that has been covered with delicate, hand-made silk organza monarch butterflies. Silver crystals alternate with the butterflies to create a sparkling effect as the dress moves. Like her bridal mini dress sister, Mona, Monarca also closes with a lace-up back. The off-the-shoulder straps can be removed for a fully strapless look.

Monarca is the Spanish word for monarch. Like her mini-dress sister, Mona, the Monarca wedding gown features hand-sewn Monarch butterflies from top to bottom. To differentiate her from Mona, Monarca's butterflies are made from delicate silk organza that move and flutter with every step emulating the quiet flutter of monarch butterfly wings. The detachable straps make it perfectly adaptable from ceremony to dancing the night away.
